Senior Solution Architect

La Fosse is collaborating with a client in the recreational sector to find a Senior Solution Architect. This position will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer, playing a crucial role in developing the architecture function. Given the nascent state of the architecture practice, this opportunity is ideal for someone who has previously contributed to establishing such functions and has experience working alongside large engineering teams. The selected candidate will have ample opportunities for direct interaction with the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement comprehensive solution architectures that fulfill business needs and align with strategic objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including business executives, product leaders, and development teams, to convert business requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Assess and recommend technology platforms, tools, and methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Direct the architecture and design of systems across multiple domains, including web, mobile, eCommerce, CRM, and cloud technologies.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends, introducing innovative concepts to enhance digital capabilities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect with a robust background in designing and executing complex solutions in the leisure, travel, or similar sectors.
  • Experience in the eCommerce field is highly advantageous, with a thorough understanding of online customer journeys, payment systems, and digital marketing integrations.
  • Proficient in a wide array of technologies, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and contemporary web frameworks.
  • Strong grasp of data architecture, integration patterns, and security best practices.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting to evolving business requirements.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.
