Cloud Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Cloud People. As a key member of our cloud services team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, including Azure Networking, Virtual Machines, and Storage.
  • Define and implement comprehensive operational requirements and service designs.
  • Manage Azure Network Architecture, including Firewalls, Security Groups, and Virtual Networks.
  • Automate infrastructure deployments in the cloud using Terraform and Pipelines.
  • Implement and maintain robust security controls within the cloud to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
  • Analyse system performance and provide reports to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Utilise Azure Migrate for effective migration processes.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure implementation and migration projects.
  • Deep understanding of Azure Network Architecture and related components.
  • Expertise in scripting and automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Practical experience with process flows and automation tools like Microsoft PowerApps and PowerShell.
  • Understanding of on-premise estates, including Active Directory Domains.
  • Proven ability to implement and maintain security controls in cloud environments.
