Financial Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our client, a well-established and respected business in the Manufacturing Industry. As a key member of the company's Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading a small finance team and taking ownership of the company's Management & Financial Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including supporting reconciliations and analysis.
- Review and oversight of control accounts reconciliations on a rolling basis to ensure accurate year-end accounting.
- Management of bank reconciliations and cash flow.
- Authorization of bank payments and overheads.
- Assistance with the preparation of year-end accounts and annual audit.
- Submission of monthly/quarterly returns to HMRC.
- Reporting and analysis for the Directors.
- Leadership and mentoring of a small team of 3.
- Identification and reporting of risks to Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Working towards AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or already qualified.
- Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Strong IT literacy, with experience of Access Dimensions desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to take sole responsibility for Management & Financial Accounting.
