NEXT is seeking a highly organized and motivated Talent & Development Coordinator to join our Head Office team on a temporary basis. This role will provide essential support to the Talent & Development team, ensuring the smooth running of all learning initiatives and events.

As the Talent & Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering a wide range of training programs, from onboarding sessions for new employees to advanced development courses for senior staff. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure that all learning experiences are engaging, effective, and aligned with NEXT's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate a diverse range of learning events, including mandatory training sessions and optional development programs.
  • Manage the logistics of learning events, from sending invitations and collecting registrations to arranging venues and coordinating catering.
  • Liaise with external training providers and vendors to ensure seamless delivery of offsite and virtual learning experiences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues related to learning programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, learner progress, and training data.
  • Support the Talent & Development team in designing engaging and informative learning materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to integrate successfully into NEXT.
Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • A passion for learning and development, with a desire to contribute to the growth and success of NEXT's employees.
