Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the East Midlands office. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for the financial control of contracts from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Control: Produce accurate information for Contribution Forecasts and Monthly Cost/Value Reports.
  2. Site Progress Reporting: Efficiently report on Site Progress and ensure correct procedures are implemented for 'Extension of Time' applications and recovery of 'Loss and Expense'.
  3. Profit Maximization: Maximize profitability and cash benefit for the Company.
  4. Sub-Contract Administration: Control and administer sub-Contract accounts.
  5. Site Re-measurement: Re-measure of all Site works.
  6. Contract Management: Liaise with Contract Management on Cost Control and all financial matters relating to the Contract.
  7. Architects Instructions: Ensure Architects Instructions and Variations are obtained and properly valued.
  8. Final Accounts Settlement: Progress settlement of Final Accounts.
  9. Sub-Contractor Procurement: Efficiently procure sub-contractors.

Requirements:

You must have an HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
