About the Role
We are seeking a Client Payments Specialist to join our Claims Solutions Group (CSG) Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to the Payments Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely client payments.
Your Responsibilities
- Process client payments efficiently and accurately, adhering to Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Manage client account cheque production and verification.
- Prepare monthly reports on client transactions and payment activity.
- Calculate interest on client accounts as required.
- Liaise with partners, fee earners, and clients to resolve queries promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payment processes within the team.
Your Skills and Experience
- Solid understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
