Audiologist Specialist

We are a leading provider of audiology services in East Kent, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to children and young people with hearing loss. Our team of experienced audiologists work closely with specialist speech and language therapists, teachers of the deaf, and paediatric consultants to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments, rehabilitation, and treatment plans.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people, and will be able to work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centred care, including audiological assessments, rehabilitation, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
Main Duties- Deliver high-quality patient-centred care to children and young people with hearing loss
- Work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments, rehabilitation, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with specialist speech and language therapists, teachers of the deaf, and paediatric consultants to provide high-quality care
- Take an active role in clinical audit, research, and clinical governance to ensure the delivery of high-quality services

Person Specification- Meets qualification and registration requirements
- Has a proficient understanding of national protocols and keeps up-to-date with changes
- Demonstrates higher than BSC level training
- Has clear experience and expertise in performing paediatric behavioural assessments and hearing aid fittings
- Ability to work autonomously, as part of a team, and takes the leading role in behavioural assessment clinics
- Has experience and expertise in other areas of paediatric audiology, including electrophysiology, Tinnitus, and Balance
