Principal Designer Opportunity at Brandon James

A prestigious national consultancy, Brandon James, is seeking an experienced Principal Designer to join their expanding team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and managing design risks across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and compliance of the Building Safety Act 2022, providing expert advice on safety regulations and design risk management.
  • Conduct high-level health and safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Facilitate design review meetings and workshops to prioritize risk management and ensure effective communication of health and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery and compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and CDM regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with diverse teams.
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
