Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

United Living Group is a leading provider of construction and infrastructure services, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in contract administration, financial management, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Administer contracts, including preparing and issuing contractual documents, and negotiating with contractors and suppliers.
  • Provide financial management and reporting, including preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and develop strategies to resolve disputes and claims.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective project delivery, and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in contract administration, financial management, and dispute resolution.
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with a professional qualification such as MRICS or MCIOB.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with project management software.
