Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our MES CoE team at ArcelorMittal SA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical advisor to the business, providing expert guidance on business processes and systems.
  • Apply corporate and departmental standards, policies, and rules to ensure consistency and quality in our solutions.
  • Ensure that the MES team delivers solutions that are reusable, maintainable, and meet specified requirements.
  • Obtain knowledge of plant processes and business processes in areas of responsibility.
  • Manage business change requests and identify opportunities for process transformation and automation.
  • Lead problem-solving, develop opportunities for businesses, and present recommendations.
  • Participate in acquisition and implementation of MES projects, including identification of opportunities and technical architecture acquisition.
  • Responsible for integration and acceptance testing, as well as after-implementation monitoring and support.
  • Manage and lead the Business Analyst team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Information Science, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years' relevant experience as a Business Analyst in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) development and support environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes and knowledge of ITIL for systems and processes.
  • Exposure to Agile System Development and Project Management processes.
  • Ability to scope projects, compile development specifications, and determine system requirements.
  • Ability to understand, write, and interpret SQL queries.
  • Experience in identifying bottlenecks, delays, manual overhead, and root causes of inefficiencies.
  • Expert in data gathering and business analysis.
  • Experience in managing a team of Business Analysts.
  • Strong understanding of ArcelorMittal SA manufacturing business processes.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
