About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable waste management company, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of hazardous waste.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of hazardous waste at arrival on site, individually and as part of a team, to ensure accurate classification and handling.
- Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for waste routing, taking into account site budget and expenditure.
- Ensure strict health and safety measures are in place and site compliance requirements are met, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Minimum HND in Chemistry or a related field with significant chemistry content.
- Industrial experience in the chemical or waste industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent organizational and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
