Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Michael Page Engineering & Manufacturing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment to maintain and improve efficiency.
- Provide breakdown diagnostics and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Fault find and rectify issues with a variety of machinery and systems, ensuring accurate and safe work practices.
- Work with a range of machinery, including mixers, ovens, moulders, conveyor systems, fast flow machines, check weighers, metal check and X-ray machines.
- Contribute to the training and development of the engineering team, sharing best practices and mentoring apprentices.
Requirements:
- Recognized engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled)
- Fabrication experience, including machining and welding, is desirable
- CMMS and SAP experience is required
- Strong understanding of maintenance systems and Lean principles is desirable
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety
- Hands-on experience with power tools is desirable
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of £46,000 - £47,000 (inclusive of shift allowance)
