Behaviour Support and Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support and Care Worker to join our team in Redditch. The successful candidate will have a background in supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to children with challenging behaviour and emotional needs.
  • Work with children who have SEMH needs, Autism, and may have been in care.
  • Help create a safe and supportive environment for learning and development.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet the individual needs of each child.
Requirements:
  • Experience in supporting children with challenging behaviour and Mental Health.
  • Background in education or alternative children's provisions, such as support worker, youth worker, ex-prison/security staff, or residential care worker.
  • Personal experience or a background in social care is also considered.
  • Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service.
