Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Reed. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clients in the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases made by the company.
  • Sales Ledger: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all sales made by the company.
  • Reconciliations: You will be responsible for reconciling all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Accruals: You will be responsible for accurately recording and reporting all accruals.
  • Stocktake: You will be responsible for conducting regular stocktakes to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Financial Meetings: You will be responsible for attending regular financial meetings to discuss financial performance and provide support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You will have experience in finance, including day-to-day transactional accounting and management accounts.
  • Skills: You will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Arrangements:

You will be working on a part-time basis, with one day per week working from home and the remainder in the office. Standard hours are 9am to 5pm, but flexibility is available to accommodate your needs.
