Job Title: Applications Specialist, Robotic Liquid Handling Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Specialist to join our team at TRS Consulting. As an Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for performing pre-sales demonstrations and post-sales customer training, onboarding new customers, and providing ongoing application assistance and support to end users.

About the Role
  • Perform pre-sales demonstrations and post-sales customer training to ensure seamless integration of our robotic liquid handling systems.
  • Onboard new customers by engaging teams in the launch and providing comprehensive training on system operation and maintenance.
  • Travel to prospective customer sites, luminary sites, and trade shows to perform presentations and showcase the capabilities of our systems.
  • Provide ongoing application assistance and support to end users, ensuring they achieve optimal results from our systems.
About You
  • You must have a background working as a scientist or laboratory technician using DNA sequencing, tissue typing, or similar.
  • Experience using automated liquid handling platforms and next-generation sequencing (NGS) is essential.
  • Automation experience, ideally script writing, is highly desirable.
  • You must be able to recognize and solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
