Position Overview:

As an experienced Infrastructure Operations Leader, you will oversee the Network and Digital Platform Teams, driving the implementation of innovative IT capabilities throughout the organization. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring optimal performance across Networking, Platforms, and Server teams, while meeting all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for Digital Platforms and Networks, articulating the function's vision and roadmap to stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing IT service delivery processes, leveraging ITIL best practices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive the transformation of Datacentre and Cloud Infrastructures, simplifying the environment and integrating advanced technologies to enhance service delivery.
  • Manage performance proactively, ensuring KPI targets are consistently met while focusing on customer satisfaction and effective technology utilization.
  • Collaborate with key suppliers to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure.
  • Establish and test business continuity plans and recovery processes for Infrastructure platforms.
  • Monitor IT Services and perform proactive maintenance to avert service disruptions.
  • Develop a skill matrix to guide training plans for current and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee the Emergency Response Team (EMT) service, including out-of-hours service provision with external partners.
  • Maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners, providing accurate progress reports and escalating risks as necessary.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess significant experience in managing Infrastructure teams within an ITIL-focused environment. A strategic mindset is essential, along with a commitment to aligning and delivering an IT Service Platforms Strategy. You must demonstrate a customer-centric approach with a proven track record of enhancing customer journeys and user experiences.

  • Expertise in IT Service Management frameworks, particularly ITIL, with a focus on optimizing service delivery.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies for service improvement aligned with organizational goals.
  • Proficient in defining and managing SLAs, KPIs, and metrics to assess service efficiency, supported by strong analytical skills.
  • Capability to lead and inspire a team, including recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Experience in crafting innovative solutions for complex technical challenges and critical incidents.
  • Strong technical knowledge across various IT disciplines.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities, balancing immediate and long-term objectives effectively.
