Key Responsibilities:
Prepare meals according to the approved menu. Ensure meals adhere to ASARS National Policy on Nutrition, Food and Fluid Management, CDHB Healthy Eating Policy, and Heart Foundation Guidelines. Address any dietary requirements related to nutrition, allergies, and medical needs as directed by healthcare professionals. Manage orders for kitchen, bathroom, and cleaning supplies for the facility. Maintain kitchen cleanliness in accordance with audit and Food Safety Plan standards. Keep records demonstrating compliance with BSI audit standards. Deliver food services that meet the standards set by the Ministry of Primary Industries Safe Food Plan.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Embody the values and mission of The Salvation Army. Demonstrate a commitment to working from a bicultural perspective, with an understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi. Capable of working independently while being part of a team. Proficient in computer usage. Highly organized and self-motivated. Possess the ability to connect with individuals with empathy, patience, and discretion, while respecting boundaries and confidentiality.Our Offer:

The salary range for this role is between $64,254.53 and $65,698.46.
The hourly wage will be between $30.89 and $31.58.
