Senior Finance Manager

A prestigious Interior Design and Architecture firm located in a prime area is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their dynamic team in a pivotal position.

Role Overview

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the finance department, supported by a finance assistant.

This position is both demanding and engaging, encompassing various responsibilities such as:

  • Collaborating with the Managing Director on all financial matters
  • Conducting budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Managing cash flow effectively
  • Analyzing departmental and project profitability while providing management insights
  • Handling payroll, pension plans, and employee benefits
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns
  • Compiling monthly management accounts
  • Coordinating with external auditors for statutory account submissions
  • Overseeing HR and office administration
Qualifications Required

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant or possess equivalent experience, preferably with a background in Interior Design or Architecture.

Candidates with project management experience in other industries may also be considered.

This role is comprehensive, requiring the ability to support various business functions and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.

Familiarity with Xero software is a plus but not mandatory.
