Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Housekeeping to lead our team of housekeeping staff in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort throughout our care home. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every room and living space meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the care home.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure the efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of cleaning services.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of all equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working order and adequate for the needs of the care home.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or healthcare setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
