Job Title: Technical Test Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Test Manager to join our team at Focus Resourcing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small technical team and overseeing the operation of our performance test facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the TSS test facilities in accordance with procedural and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct line management of staff, including safety and effective work allocation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant UK, EU, and global test standards, including ventilation unit and fan performance, noise, thermal efficiency, and smoke control.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and TSS facility assets.
  • Manage and respond to test requests, collate and assess test results, and compile technical data in the appropriate format.
  • Provide detailed technical information relevant to product regulatory compliance and liaise with third-party test and research organizations.
  • Develop a program of innovative technical research related to core ventilation products.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level expertise in fluids, air movement, and measurement, acoustics, laboratory instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Practical experience in data processing and analysis using desktop tools and bespoke systems.
