Coach Builder Opportunity

WH Bence, a specialist manufacturer of transportable solutions, is seeking a skilled Coach Builder to join their production team. As a Coach Builder, you will work on various medical and emergency services vehicles, both new and old, installing a variety of materials such as GRP, wood, aluminium, and steel sections.

About the Role
  • Work on medical and emergency services vehicles, both new and old
  • Install various materials, including GRP, wood, aluminium, and steel sections
  • Work in a busy production workshop, Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 16:30pm

W H Bence is a market leader in the design and build of mobiles for NHS and Private Healthcare providers, as well as Emergency Services and Hospitality sectors. With over 40 years of experience, this family-run business employs over 100 people and has a friendly but busy site.

Requirements
  • Practical experience in a similar role or trade
  • Good general wood/metal and fabrication skills (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Ability to work to a high standard independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional handling of a variety of tasks
  • Awareness of health and safety in a workshop environment
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to train and learn new skills
  • Ability to lift items regularly due to the nature of the role
