Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Supervisor to join our Aggregate and Asphalt division at FM Conway. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our asphalt plant, ensuring the highest quality products are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate the operational team to achieve excellence in quality and efficiency
  • Manage stock levels of fuel, constituent, and raw materials
  • Ensure mixing plans are carried out effectively and cost-efficiently
  • Report critical issues in a timely and accurate manner
  • Generate task-specific risk assessments and safe working practices
  • Control and supervise contractors in accordance with company health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Carry out all weighbridge functions, including managing the daily delivery schedule and maintaining effective communication with team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have experience with asphalt plant manufacturing operating systems, a good understanding of health and safety practices and legislation, and experience operating loading shovels, telehandlers, and weighbridges. You will also have a strong customer focus, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
