About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at A Wilderness Way. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential settings.
Main Responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be the lead practitioner on shift, mentoring and supporting new team members, and drawing upon your extensive experience to manage any challenges that may arise. You will work collaboratively with our education, therapy, and outdoor teams, as well as colleagues from the wider sector, to keep the children at the heart of all you do.
Key Qualities
We are looking for someone who has achieved their Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Children and Young People's Workforce, and ideally has experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or a similar setting working with children with challenging behavior. You will be a passionate and like-minded individual who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of our children.

Benefits
We offer a range of benefits, including an annual salary of £35,104 plus £3,900 annual sleep-in allowance, 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum, additional leave at 2 years and 5 years' service, and a range of discounts and rewards.
