We are seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Manager to lead our Street Cleansing team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our services, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Street Cleansing team, ensuring that all services are delivered to the highest standards and that team performance is consistently met.
- Service Management: Manage the frontline collection service, supervising up to 60 employees and ensuring that all aspects of service delivery are met.
- Customer Focus: Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to health and safety procedures, investigating any incidents and implementing measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Resource Management: Manage staff usage and agency costs, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet business needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a strong track record of delivering results and improving performance.
- Service Delivery: Experience in delivering high-quality services, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team performance.
- Health and Safety: Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols, with experience in investigating incidents and implementing measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using digital systems to manage services and people, with experience in using tools such as fleet management software and customer relationship management systems.
