Job Title: Backshift Service Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Backshift Service Assistant. This role will involve providing maintenance and security services on our Academy sites and premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lock and unlock Academy buildings and areas.
  • Conduct regular security checks and identify potential security risks.
  • Monitor fire safety equipment and perform fire alarm testing.
  • Operate and respond to alarm systems as necessary.
  • Perform minor repairs, such as redecorating and fixing.
  • Undertake minor maintenance tasks, including plumbing, changing light bulbs, and unblocking drains.
  • Organize and carry out various maintenance duties to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the premises.
  • Assist with minor improvement work, such as erecting shelves and notice boards.
Requirements:
