About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a talented Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team in the Southeast of England. As a key member of our Building Consultancy Division, you will be responsible for leading numerous projects to reinstate commercial and domestic properties following damage by an insured peril.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects to reinstate properties, working with our QS's, CAD technicians, and engineers
  • Conduct technical reporting, defects diagnosis, and prepare Schedules of Works
  • Manage a workload and make reasoned decisions under pressure
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Loss Adjusting teams to build relationships
Requirements
  • MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
  • Building-related degree
  • Interest in sustainability and passion to assist our plans to reach net carbon zero
  • Full UK driving license essential
  • Extensive knowledge of building construction and relevant legislation
