ASIC Design Lead

Microchip Technology is seeking a highly experienced engineer to contribute to its cutting-edge ASIC and FPGA design team. This role offers the opportunity to design and integrate full chip architectures, encompassing control/data busses for advanced devices.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industry standard protocols and collaborate effectively with diverse design teams to ensure seamless integration.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the detailed design and integration of modules within complex ASICs or FPGAs.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the post-layout timing closure and verification process.
- Continuously strive to enhance data processing bandwidth and minimize latency in chip designs.
- Collaborate closely with software and firmware engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in SOC IP development, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership skills coupled with expert-level proficiency in Verilog design methodologies.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts through comprehensive design specifications.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team environment.
