About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As a leader in our specialist mental health services, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare and well-being of young people.
  • Ensure the home is a safe and nurturing environment that fosters positive relationships and promotes independence.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staff to ensure the effective delivery of services.
  • Participate in care planning and review meetings to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential, with Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred.
  • Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior and provide emotional support to young people.
