We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Branch Assistant to join our team at SBS – SBD. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our trade counters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse.
  • Assist with health and safety compliance and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Support the Branch Manager and team in achieving branch performance targets and provide cover in the branch when required.
  • Be responsible for multi-drop deliveries and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products and services and be able to provide expert advice to customers.

Requirements:

  • A full valid driving license is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in a driving role would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and be willing to adapt to changing priorities.
