About the Role:

MP Recruitment Careers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead our grant-funded projects and fundraise for new initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall management of drug development grant-funded projects for a portfolio of UK and EU-funded projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
  • Conduct market research to identify new funding sources and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funding agencies and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on project management experience in a scientific setting.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Ability to drive to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in UK/EU funding programs (e.g. Horizon 2020, SBRI).
  • Education in a life sciences field, PhD desirable but not required.
