Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Orthopaedic Specialty Physician to become a vital member of our Trauma and Rehabilitation Team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to rotate through various departments, including upper limb surgery, lower limb primary and revision arthroplasty, knee and soft tissue knee surgery, hand surgery, and foot and ankle surgery.

Main Responsibilities

The selected individual will be expected to engage fully in delivering resident Trauma and Orthopaedic services to the healthcare facility, both during regular hours and on-call. This role will involve rotation within the Orthopaedic department, and the candidate may also be required to take on additional responsibilities during emergencies and unforeseen situations. This may include being available for irregular commitments outside of the standard rostered duties, which are essential for ensuring continuity of patient care.

As an Orthopaedic Specialty Physician, you will be accountable for clinical matters to the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, with overall management responsibilities resting with the Clinical Director and Patient Service Manager.
