Position Overview

The Senior Technical Consultant role (L6) at Cisilion Professional Services involves consulting, designing, planning, and executing technical projects. This position requires close collaboration with Principal Technical Consultants, Pre-sales/Solution Architects, and various teams as necessary. The Senior Technical Consultant will also provide essential technical support to Sales and Solutions teams to facilitate the closure of sales opportunities and enhance customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in relevant technologies, delivering technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and developing proposals with a profound understanding of multiple technologies.
  • Serve as a mentor and technical escalation point, offering expert-level knowledge, peer review, and guidance on issue resolution, standards, design, and best practices.
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Project Managers, Pre-Sales, and Customers as required.
  • Design and deliver implementation services for clients, creating essential technical documentation such as Low-Level and High-Level Designs, diagrams, Bill of Materials, test plans, and Statements of Work (SoW).
  • Lead the design, implementation, migration, and testing of technical solutions, including the creation and presentation of customer-facing documentation.
  • Facilitate project design workshops and collaborate with clients to identify commercially viable technical solutions.
  • Ensure projects are executed within agreed timelines, quality standards, scope, and budget, applying appropriate governance to manage risks, changes, and issues.
  • Take a lead role in assigned projects, ensuring solutions align with industry and Cisilion best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of system and test acceptance documentation and scenarios.
  • Proactively assess tools, systems, standards, documentation, and procedures, making recommendations for improvements or changes.
  • Uphold and enhance the Cisilion brand and that of Operations and Professional Services.
  • Manage one or more teams of consultants throughout the project duration.

Required Certifications

Essential:

  • M365 Administrator Expert (MS-102)
  • M365 Certified: Endpoint Admin (MD-102)
  • Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)
  • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

Desirable:

  • Azure Solution Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Other SC exams (SC-900, SC-200 to 400)
  • Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)

Knowledge & Experience

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following behavioral and experiential traits:

  • Track Record: Proven experience in managing and executing various migrations and discussing options.
  • Customer Engagement: Extensive experience in gathering customer requirements to design and implement transformation projects across multiple toolsets with precision and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of Core Microsoft 365 Architecture: Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft technical architecture, both on-premises and Cloud, with specific experience in identity and access, data and threat protection (security), compliance, and endpoint management.

Key Technology Areas and Products:

  • Microsoft Endpoint Management: Including SCCM, Intune, Cloud PC, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Identity Services: Including Entra ID, Active Directory Services, Tenant management, Azure B2B/B2C.
  • SharePoint: Proficiency in the design and architecture around Microsoft SharePoint, including Enterprise Search, Site Management, Teams, and related SharePoint applications and services.
  • Microsoft Migrations: Experience with migrations from on-prem deployments to Cloud, such as SCCM to Microsoft Intune for Endpoints, and tenant consolidation.
  • Microsoft 365 Architecture: Thorough understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, Azure (from a tenant and resources perspective), and operating in a cloud-native and hybrid environment.
