About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at 21 HSC. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and neurodiversity to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support that promotes the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support.
  • Contribute to and implement support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Deliver high-quality support and administration, including personal care, tenancy support, health needs, personal development, emotional needs, and inclusion.
Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Empathy and patience are essential in this role, as you will be working with individuals who may require additional support.
  • Compassion and understanding are crucial in building trust and rapport with the individuals we support.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Qualified to the level required by the SSSC as a support worker in a housing support service and care at home service, or a willingness to work towards and to successfully complete qualification within the SSSC specified timeframe.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.
  • A 12-week full-time temporary contract with the view of converting to a permanent contract thereafter.
