About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Care Professional to join our team at Penicuik Dental Centre. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side support to dentists and hygienists during procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist with patient preparation, including taking medical histories and explaining treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, using our internal system to ensure seamless communication between team members.
- Contribute to the upkeep of our surgery, ensuring it is well-stocked and equipped for each session.
- Anticipate the needs of our clinicians and patients, ensuring that necessary equipment and lab work are available as required.
- Monitor and manage surgery stocks, maintaining optimal levels to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, making appointments, and collecting patient charges.
