About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Adult Care Trainer to join our team at HIT Training. As an Adult Care Trainer, you will play a vital role in developing the next generation of care professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with apprentices in care homes and online, sharing your knowledge and industry experience to train and develop their skills.
  • Tailor learning plans to meet the needs of each apprentice, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Support apprentices' development by teaching them the importance of English and maths in their care roles, helping them with functional skills as required.
  • Build relationships with employers and provide feedback on how their apprentices are progressing.
  • Mentor your learners through face-to-face visits, online sessions, and ongoing guidance, helping them achieve their qualifications and become confident in their roles.
About You

We are looking for passionate care professionals who want to share their knowledge and experience to make a meaningful impact on the adult care industry. If you have held a leadership position in care and are ready for a new challenge, this role is ideal for you.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Care Manager.
  • A Level 5 qualification in Adult Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.
  • A willingness to work towards Level 2 (GCSE) qualifications in English and maths, with support provided.
