Personal Support Worker (PSW) / Home Care Aide (HCA)

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and Home Care Aides (HCAs) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and promoting their well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if required.
  • Light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
  • Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized PSW program or HCA/CCA certification.
  • Experience in long-term care or community home care settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with care planning systems and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for community home care positions.
