ICT Category Manager

Bramwith Consulting is seeking a seasoned IT & Indirects Category Manager to join our close-knit Strategic Sourcing team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic sourcing of software, hardware, and professional services subcategories, including licensing, application development and maintenance, cloud, data centers, servers, and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with market-leading technology vendors and suppliers to leverage commercial advantages and cost savings for the business.
- Project lead category and sourcing strategies, owning the cradle-to-grave procurement process, including RFP and RFQ.
- Regularly interact with executive-level stakeholders to win support for far-reaching procurement initiatives.
- Instill a high-performance culture amongst the procurement team, upskilling junior team members, and demonstrating best-in-class IT procurement practices.
Requirements:
- Strong procurement and strategic sourcing experience within established companies, with at least 2 years specializing in IT and Technology categories.
- Track record of progression within your procurement career, stepping from Buyer to Senior Buyer to Procurement Manager/Category Manager within a short space of time.
- Degree/MCIPS qualifications preferable though not essential.
