ICT Category Manager

We are seeking an experienced ICT Category Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As an ICT Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a category plan that delivers stakeholder requirements while minimizing whole life costs and mitigating commercial and operational risk.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement category plans that meet stakeholder requirements
- Manage commercial elements arising from contract implementation, amendments, extensions, and disputes with suppliers
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers
- Use management information from ERP and Purchasing systems to inform category decisions
- Collaborate with technical, finance, and legal colleagues to formalize commercial and contractual requirements
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in delivering value from supplier relationships
- Experience in developing category, budget, and supplier strategies
- Proven track record of running eCommerce applications and sourcing events in blue-chip organizations
- Good contract law knowledge and analytical skills
- Ability to operate within and manage cross-functional teams and virtual teams
