Location: Dorchester

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Automation to become a vital contributor to a leading organization renowned for its excellence in various sectors including Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, and Renewable Energy.

This position offers a long-term opportunity where you will be a key player in the design and management of electro-mechanical systems, encompassing control systems from initial concept to production, utilizing both manual and computer-aided engineering analysis.

With over 20 years of industry presence, our client boasts a modern facility and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality process solutions that enhance operational efficiency for their clients.

This role is ideal for an Electro-Mechanical Engineer experienced with robotic and computer-based systems such as Fanuc, Simulink, or MATLAB, who is looking for a rewarding and independent work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop system and subsystem product requirements
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of design specifications
  • Contribute to the preparation of design review materials according to product development policies
  • Engage in travel to client sites as necessary
  • Utilize design and process failure modes & effects analysis (D/PFMEA)


Candidate Profile:

  • Experience with Fanuc, Simulink, and MATLAB
  • Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and assemblies
  • Degree in Electro-Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or a related field
