Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Antony James Recruitment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry department and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation in all aspects of pastry production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the pastry team to achieve exceptional results and high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
  • Collaborate with the head chef and other senior chefs to ensure seamless communication and coordination of menu planning and production.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Train and develop junior pastry chefs to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior pastry chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
