Job Description Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Skills Development Leader to design, implement, and manage state-of-the-art training & development programs that will shape the future of our engineering team. This dynamic and impactful position will ensure our engineers remain at the forefront of industry standards and innovations, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop comprehensive training programs for engineers at all levels.
  2. Create and update training materials, manuals, and online resources.
  3. Incorporate hands-on workshops, e-learning modules, and practical projects into training curriculums.
  4. Collaborate with local colleges and universities to identify and develop appropriate academic courses.
  5. Mentor, coach, and guide interns, apprentices, and graduates, as well as those assigned to internal training and development programs.
  6. Collaborate with professional institutions to retain professional registration, support candidates through application for chartership, or fellowship.
Requirements:
  1. Degree qualified in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Strong understanding of engineering principles, tools, and technologies.
  3. Ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  5. Proficiency in various engineering software and tools.
  6. Proven experience in engineering, technical training, or a related role.
  7. Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools.
  8. Certification in adult education or instructional design.
  9. Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with occasional travel to other company locations or training sites. Part-time hours would be considered.
