About the Role

The Aurora Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Meldreth Manor, a specialist education and care facility for children and young people with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to our children and young people, promoting their confidence, independence, and overall well-being.
  • Assist with daily activities, including personal care, socialization, and therapy sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and families to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment that fosters growth and development.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Desirable: Level 3 in Residential Child Care or equivalent.
