Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Commercial Solar division as the Head of Commercial Solar. This is a key leadership role that will drive business growth through the development and sale of solar panel installations to B2B clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Strategy: Implement business strategy for the Commercial Solar division that aligns with the company's overall objectives and growth targets.
  • Market Research: Lead market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Sales and Operations: Oversee the development and execution of sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and objectives, and providing ongoing coaching and development.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive lead generation, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Ensure efficient and effective project management from initial consultation through to installation and maintenance, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Manage the division's P&L, budgeting, and financial planning activities, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability.
Requirements
  • Background: Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration background.
  • Technical and Commercial Understanding: Profound technical and commercial understanding of PV projects, preferably in both ground-mounted and roof-top segments.
  • Business Ethics: Strong business ethics, flexible, and open-minded team player.
