About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Technician to join our team at Konecranes. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our customers' lifting equipment, including electric overhead travelling cranes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and identify root causes
- Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues
- Complete accurate and detailed documentation of work performed
Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent in electrical engineering disciplines
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining/repairing cranes or industrial equipment
- Health and safety awareness and a commitment to a safe working environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Willingness to work extra hours, including overtime and on-call shifts
- Current driving license and ability to travel to customer sites
