Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at Konecranes. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and consulting with customers on repair and safety-related issues.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues
  • Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent and conversant with electrical engineering disciplines
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Experience of maintaining/repairing cranes or industrial equipment as a minimum
  • Health & Safety awareness
  • Personable with regular customer contact
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights
  • Willingness to work extra hours with paid overtime
  • Current driving licence
  • Willingness to work on the On-Call Rota with enhanced premium
