Job Title: Trade Sales Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Sales Specialist to join our team at Ernest Hunter Green. As a Trade Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for originating and executing trade transactions in assigned jurisdictions, working towards asset generation targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and Execute Trade Transactions: Identify and create new business opportunities to grow the client base and market share.
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Plans: Develop and implement marketing and customer call plans with respect to trade products across the bank to achieve the agreed financial targets.
  • Deal Origination and Execution: Responsible for trade deal origination, deal execution, and developing and maintaining a strong deal pipeline and trade target market.
  • Represent the Bank: Actively participate and represent the bank on trade forums, establishing personal relationships with trade customers and driving the transaction execution process.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all other related departments and units in the UK to achieve the Sales goals.
  • Trade Proposition Development: Create customer-focused presentations, trade pitch books, and enhance the bank's ability to deliver a powerful and compelling trade proposition to its current and targeted trade customers.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking, preferably with a background in structured trade finance or commodities finance.
  • Education: University graduate (Bachelor's degree) preferably with a major in finance, banking, economics, mathematics, or business administration (related field of study), with a master's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with additional fluency in Arabic being useful. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects and cross-functional relationships.
