Position Overview

Salary: £14.04 per Hour. Potential earnings of £35,000 to £36,000, with additional overtime opportunities available (£40,000 OTE).

Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester

Working Hours: Rotating shifts between days and nights. Monday to Thursday, 06:45 to 18:45 and 18:45 to 06:45.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Start up, set, and operate extrusion and injection moulding machines.
  • Manufacture a diverse range of products according to customer specifications.
  • Work with various plastic raw materials, ensuring machines are calibrated for optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards.
  • Adhere to health and safety initiatives, focusing on waste reduction and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A background in manufacturing.
  • Experience in the plastic extrusion industry, particularly with PVC.
  • Proficiency in operating and setting hydraulic machinery.
