We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and support to our guests at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa in Axbridge, Somerset.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work across 5 variable days, including weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming and assisting guests with their queries
  • Providing information on local attractions and events
  • Issuing accommodation keys and providing guests with essential information
  • Handling telephone calls and dealing with customer complaints
  • Accurately handling cash transactions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
  • A driving license and the ability to drive (advantageous for travel to and from the resort)
