Head Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Receptionist to join our team at Bucks and Berks Recruitment. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the opening and closing of the reception area, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all.
  • Lead by example as a visible brand ambassador, embodying the values and standards of our luxury brand.
  • Greet all visitors, book them in, and assist their onward experience, providing a first-class service at all times.
  • Offer encouragement, coaching, and support to the wider team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist with inbound telephone liaison and email liaison, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Assist with events, including setup, coordination, and execution.
  • Responsible for the facilitation of booking of meeting rooms, ensuring seamless and efficient use of resources.
  • Responsible for weekly alarm tests and trusted with Fire Marshall duties, ensuring the safety and security of our team and visitors.
  • Assist in setting up for events, ordering supplies and catering, and ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
Person Specification:
  • Experience working in a luxury and/or hospitality front of house environment is highly desirable.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional client service and guest experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with a wide range of people are required.
  • A can-do attitude and a positive, flexible outlook are essential for success in this role.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, serving customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner, are a must.
