Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Executive Director of Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall responsibility for strategy and contract development, ensuring seamless service delivery in line with client requirements and our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food and Service Development
    • Ensure that client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered and measured across all locations, aligning with our brand standards.
    • Support the Catering Manager in setting clear expectations to all staff regarding food and service standards, ensuring high-quality services across all locations.
    • Collaborate with the Catering Manager to continually review and improve the service and food provided at all locations.
  • Relationship Management
    • Ensure locations achieve financial targets agreed with clients, in line with budget.
    • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Operations Managers to develop best practices in monitoring costs.
    • Understand and interpret relevant financial control systems, using data to measure performance and achieve targets.
    • Prepare, produce, and present a monthly financial report for the Operations Manager and client, detailing financial performance, activity, and plans for the relevant site, outlining necessary actions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with a strong background in food and beverage operations.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
